Footsteps away from Central Park, PS84 is a small and diverse neighborhood school. An engaged community of families supports and is actively involved in a rich offering of arts, culture, and technology during the school day and beyond.

Our Mission
The Lillian Weber School strives to provide equity and access for all learners. We give our students the necessary tools to develop critical thinking skills, a strong work ethic, and the sense of identity and responsibility that are crucial to creativity and independence in their quest for learning. PS 84 offers students a deep and complex understanding of the world, and teaches them to be respectful and curious about diverse cultures and the planet we share.
Our Vision
PS84 responds to the challenge of integrating three strong academic programs: Spanish Dual Language Immersion, French Dual Language Immersion, and Computer Science/Media Arts. Staff, students, and parents work collaboratively so that children leave us as a strong cohort of life-long learners and global citizens of the world. We at PS84 hold high expectations for all students. Our approach to education is rigorous and demanding while keeping in close focus each child's individuality and self-esteem.
